According to foreign media reports on May 10, thanks to the launch of cloud gaming platforms, companies like Microsoft can now realize many of the previous "impossible strategies". Previously, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer revealed that "Weibo plans to stream Xbox games to your TV in the cloud in the future." Since then, Microsoft has reconfirmed that it will offer a smart TV app at the same time and Xbox streaming devices.

In a new report from Venture Beat, Microsoft plans to release an Xbox cloud game streaming device in 2023. Presumably, the device could resemble an Amazon Fire TV Stick or a Roku-like puck-shaped form factor. The device allows for any streaming in the TV app and simultaneous access to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

It’s also been reported that Microsoft and Samsung are working closely together to develop the streaming app, so Samsung smart TV users don’t even need to buy a dedicated device for it. The release time will also be launched in the next 12 months.

According to reports in May, Microsoft announced an initiative called Xbox Everywhere to let people play Xbox cloud games on as many devices as possible. In addition, the plan also intends to completely differentiate Xbox cloud gaming from Xbox gaming and allow people to play games from their own game library for free.
